A MUSIC VENUE WITH A DIFFERENCE
Folklore Hoxton is a live music venue with a difference. We have been weaving emerging performers with music lovers at our grassroots venue since 2014. By reweaving musicians and artists together with those who love music we have circumvented the stronghold of the music industry to make or break careers and put this back in the hands of the people.
MENDING BROKEN THREADS THROUGH CREATIVITY
Given this success we got to work on mending other broken threads in our society. Through the medium of music, art, performance and gatherings we brought people together from diverse backgrounds to weave their stories into a whole. This reweaving led us to a realisation that in almost all of our stories there is a common essential wisdom – the idea of universal interconnection and that modern scientific breakthroughs in quantum physics confirm that this interconnectedness is true at a subatomic level.
RE-ENCHANTING FOLKLORE
By reintroducing members to the folklore of ancient wisdom, indigenous rituals, spirituality and nature we have found new ways to enact this interconnectedness we all know we have, but have lost access to.
OUR MISSION
We are on a mission to reweave our stories' threads into an interconnected whole.This is why we have decided to launch a members only space for the Folk of Lore where you can reawaken to our interconnectedness and be reminded of life’s pulsing rhythm that moves around and within all of us.

We want to help more people reawaken to our interconnectedness. Folk of Lore membership will reconnect you to nature, ancient wisdom, the lost folklore of our ancestors with your mind, body and spirit, those to whom you belong in the present and to all future generations ahead, linking this with cutting-edge science. By doing so we help you return to living in alignment with nature and its biological rhythms leading to a smoother and harmonious way of life - for the betterment of all.
