But we believe in going back to our gastronomical roots to achieve better health.
Repast centers around consuming the whole, unprocessed and unrefined foods of our direct ancestors.
Classic Cuisines Explored and celebrated traditional dishes from various cultures, emphasising their historical and cultural significance.. Authentic recipes were compiled and documented, accompanied by historical anecdotes to provide context. The project provided a connection to heritage through shared food culture.
Classic Cuisines has been re-branded and is now part of the Folklore Hoxton Repast offering. The Repast food van serves up food that is local, seasonal and cultural. The food is made by marginalised people who are are members of the charity. Folklore Hoxton customers having the ability to pay it forward.
